- This episode was released on the very same day that the current Isreal-Hamas conflict began.
- The hotel featured is named after Stanley Livingston, a character who appeared in "Tennessee Tuxedo & His Tales". In fact, he was originally going to appear in this episode, but his appearance was canned due to time constraints. In addition, the hotel also bears a resemblance to the hotel from "The Shining". In addition to this, the ghost girls that appear are a direct reference to the twins seen in the movie.
- This is the first episode in which Munchlax appears.
